Five Products, Including Printers and Projectors, Win the iF Design Award 2025

Seiko Epson Corporation (TSE: 6724, "Epson") has received the prestigious iF Design Award 2025 for three printer models, one colorimeter, and one projector, all of which are sold both domestically and internationally.
Each year since 1954, iF International Forum Design GmbH, headquartered in Germany, organizes the iF Design Award, now recognized internationally as one of the most prestigious design competitions. A jury selects the best and most innovative industrial product designs. This award honors only products that meet a wide range of strict criteria, including practicality, craftsmanship, innovation, environmental consideration, functionality, usability, safety, aesthetics, and universal design. This year, a jury made up of 131 experts selected the best designs from among nearly 11,000 entries from 66 countries and regions.
Award-Winning Designs
Business Inkjet Printer: WorkForce Enterprise AM-C550/400
This is an A4 color line inkjet multifunction printer designed for office use. With the printheads arranged diagonally to shorten the paper path, it delivers high productivity with a printing speed of 55 pages per minute1,2 while being compact enough for desktop use. It has a smaller environmental footprint than laser systems thanks to having lower power consumption and fewer replacement parts, thus saving resources. The designers aimed to create a cleaner office environment.

The SureColor SC-F9500/9500H series & SC-S9100 series
These industrial large-format printers provide better than ever image quality and productivity but at a height reduced by 300 mm compared to previous models3. The reduced height alleviates the sense of oppression in the installation space. They also feature a flat top surface for checking prints, a lifter to assist with setting heavy media, and a large cover for easy maintenance. These features are designed to reduce the psychological and physical burden on operators, promoting a comfortable and safe "wellness at work" environment.

Large-Format Inkjet Printer: SureColor SC-P20500 Series
This is a 64-inch aqueous pigment large-format inkjet printer designed to enhance image quality and productivity for the photo and fine art markets. The use of high-capacity ink packs reduces the frequency of ink replacement by operators and cuts waste volume to about 1/10th 4. Additionally, the flat top surface can be used for work, improving space efficiency. The designer aimed for a high-performance and sophisticated appearance with a white exterior to create a cleaner printing environment in the future.

Auto Color Chart Reading Portable Table
This portable table makes color matching for large-format printers easy. When paired with Epson's SD-10 colorimeter and color management software, it automatically reads printed color charts and creates optimal profiles for printers and media, ensuring accurate color matching. Its unique drive technology enabled a high-precision, compact, and lightweight body.
