Seiko Epson Corporation has amended its Principles of Corporate Behavior and made other changes as described below. The changes came into effect on October 1, 2022.

Principles of Corporate Behavior was amended to incorporate the spirit of Exceed Your Vision, Integrity and Effort, and Creativity and Challenge, all of which define values that Epson holds dear. The related policies mentioned below were also integrated into Principles of Corporate Behavior.

The three related policies listed below were integrated into the Principles of Corporate Behavior. The content of these related policies will be communicated to stakeholders via the Principles of Corporate Behavior.
(1) Quality Policy
(2) Environmental Policy
(3) Human Resources Development Policy

The Epson Group Basic Product Safety Policy was reviewed and amended.

The Management Philosophy, Principles of Corporate Behavior, policies related to the Principles of Corporate Behavior, including the Epson Group Basic Product Safety Policy, and the Epson Global Code of Conduct, comprise the Epson Way, which exemplifies the Epson Group's shared values and modes of conduct.

On September 28, 2022, the Epson Group publicly announced that it has defined a corporate purpose on the foundation of the Epson Way. Our purpose is stated as "Our philosophy of efficient, compact and precise innovation enriches lives and helps create a better world."" With high aspirations, we will sustain growth and increase corporate value over the medium and long terms.
