Advancement of People with Disabilities

We seek to create conditions that allow all individuals to make meaningful contribution by continuously challenging themselves and growing at a pace aligned with their roles and responsibilities.
Rather than simply employing people with disabilities, we focus on empowerment and are steadily improving systems, culture, and workplace awareness.
This page introduces some of our initiatives that are advancement of People with Disabilities.

Our Initiatives

Creating an Environment Where All Can Thrive

We are committed to fostering understanding and building a workplace culture where all employees can thrive, regardless of disability.

In addition to work experience programs for university students and online courses, we hold and provide information about internal and external events and workshops on the theme of empowering people with disabilities. These events and courses foster greater understanding of disabilities and help create an environment where all employees can thrive.

Innovating Operations at a Special Subsidiary

Special subsidiaries play a key role in Epson Group's value chain. Epson Mizube traditionally focused on janitorial services but has recently expanded the services its offers along with an expansion in the employment of people with psychiatric disabilities. It is enabling these people to take advantage of their skills in administrative services, such as in the design of online course materials.

We are working to further enhance corporate value from multiple angles, including by reviewing hiring practices and job design, developing new business areas, updating personnel and evaluation systems, and promoting a shift in employee mindset.
